This was a hilarious little moment…Cannon showing me the huge leaf he found….and…..Tristen coming from behind to snag it Another favorite….a very serious one 

In High School, Jeff had a Mustang that he’s still very much in love with. One of my neighbors is selling this beauty, so I asked if he’d mind if I used it as a surprise backdrop for part 1 of our photo shoot.

In case you were wondering where these dudes got their handsome looks from….my guess is this guy

Raleigh was with us…and couldn’t resist getting in a few pictures. She sure does love these guys.

Looking at these now, it’s amazing how much the kids have all grown over the last year! I’m so glad I have these!

1. I was born in Sarasota, Florida
2. I am the 2^nd oldest of 9 kids. 6 girls, 3 boys, same 2 parents, no twins, yes…we were Catholic…for a while. Madeline, Meredith, Edward, Mary Katherine, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, John, Anne Marie & Michael. Bonus points always go to people we date who can learn that in under a year! Here’s the most recent picture of all of us (with my Dad and Nanny & the 2 grandchildren) 
3.  I don’t like wearing shoes…I wear flip flops all year & whenever possible
4. I have a freckle on the middle toe of my right foot
5. When I was little I was stung by a baby octopus on my right hand, there’s still a tiny circular scar.
6. The beach is my favorite place on earth…but I don’t like getting in the water (read above and add to that sharks).
7. I love reading and I read fast, if it’s good I’ll devour a book in a couple hours.
8. I modeled…briefly…very…
9.  I attended 5 different high schools…a Private Catholic School, a Catholic Boarding School and 3 different Public Schools…no, I wasn’t a problem child (at least not enough to warrant that many schools)!!
10. My house burned down when I was a junior in high school…we lost pretty much everything, but somehow many of our pictures survived.
11. My first vehicle was a truck…a Toyota 4×4. I taught myself to drive a stick shift in it. It was what I imagine driving a tractor to feel like.
12. There are moments from my daughters birth that I can relive like they were happening right now. I remember holding her hands and staring at those long beautiful fingers in awe. She still amazes me every single day!
13. I’ve always wanted to live in Spain
14.  Nicholas Sparks’ movies make me cry. Every time.
15. When I was 18 I got a tattoo of a claddagh on my back, I’ve never regretted it.
16.  I rarely re-watch movies unless someone else is with me.
17.  My favorite food is Asian…sushi, dim sum, Korean bbq, Phò….yuuuuuum.
18. Running Warrior Dash with some of Atlanta’s most amazing female photographers was one of the greatest experiences
19. I’ve never been to Disney (my mom may dispute that, but if I have, I was too young to remember) I badly want my first time to be Raleigh’s first time too!
20.  I had my first kiss when I was in 6^th grade, on the cheek under a huge magnolia tree.
21. I am a survivor…of what? Ask and I’d be happy to share.
22.  I have owned two companies. I love working for myself.
23.  I didn’t finish college.
24. Attending the Art Institute of Atlanta was one of my dreams, I’m glad I went even if I didn’t finish.
25.  I lived in Savannah for about a year. That street level apartment with it’s black and white tile floors overlooking a lush courtyard with a fountain, steps from one of the beautiful squares…was the coolest place I’ve ever lived
26.  I used to bartend. I make a great martini. I also created a drink my friends call “Meredith’s a whore”…the inspiration for it was a drink called the “French whore”, my friends think they are funny!
27.  I procrastinate. I wait until the last minute for everything.
28.  I am rarely late. It stresses me out, I’m much more likely to be early and sit in my car waiting!
29. I’m a romantic.
30.   I started my 20’s moving somewhere I’d never been to gain my feeling of independence. I knew no one, had nothing and was scared out of my mind. I’m starting my 30’s moving somewhere far away from home. Very different reasons, but it’s a full circle moment for me. The path I started then led to so many incredible times over the last decade. I cannot fathom what this big leap will set into motion for my 30’s!
